Mr Griffs loves a good cup of tea. Especially when it's extra hot.
Thanks to John Martinez for the sketch! The Absurd Tales of Mr Griffs is a series of short stories. The stories address some of life's greatest ironies and quirks through the lens of our main character - Mr Griffs. Thanks Tramik Design
Mr Griffs is an eccentric man in his early sixties and can be very grumpy, although he does have a very cheeky smile. He has wild white hair and a wrinkled face. He enjoys drinking tea, eating cake and nuts, and loves the peace and quiet. He wears baggy clothes as he relishes the airiness and the freedom of movement that they give him. Mr Griffs is set in his ways and sees things differently to other people. He always manages to find himself at the centre of controversy.
He's busy sorting through a bag of mixed nuts, looking for pistachios. His wife just asked him why he didn't buy a bag of pistachios in the first place. That's Mr Griffs for you.
The Absurd Tales of Mr Griffs - a series of short stories that follows the life and escapades of Mr Griffs - COMING SOON.
Mr Griffs likes his routine and privacy. Almost as much as he loves a cup of tea. And biscuits. And cake. And nuts. And ice cream. But if there's one thing he doesn't like, it's his arch-nemesis and neighbour, Steve Moran. Mr Griffs considers himself to be the everyday person. A man of the people. Indeed, there's a Mr Griffs in all of us. Mr Griffs is as quirky as we all wish we could be.
One thing for certain is Mr Griffs' weakness for cake. You can often spot him at Cornville's local cake shop, Simple Delights. After all, Mr Griffs considers himself to be the shop's chief taste tester. Don't we all?
