Who is Mr Griffs?
|
Mr Griffs is an eccentric man in his early sixties and can be very grumpy, although he does have a very cheeky smile. He has wild white hair and a wrinkled face. He enjoys drinking tea, eating cake and nuts, and loves the peace and quiet. He wears baggy clothes as he relishes the airiness and the freedom of movement that they give him. Mr Griffs is set in his ways and sees things differently to other people. He always manages to find himself at the centre of controversy.

The back story
|
Our stories are whimsical and quirky. Rather than being heavy on morals, The Absurd Tales of Mr Griffs exaggerates reality. It’s all about the irony of life because, let’s face it, it’s more fun this way.
Once we had this concept, everyday experiences and observations became inspiration. From there, we needed a character who embodied these ideals. Mr Griffs soon grew to life. As a character he is extremely logical (though he tends to think outside the box), but somehow his approach to life always seems to get him into trouble. Although he has many unique mannerisms, we wanted to create a character that we could all relate to - there is a Mr Griffs in all of us. The stories are always evolving and there is no predicting what Mr Griffs will do next. - The authors |
